SAR Watch has no user accounts, no forms, and sets no cookies of its own (no analytics, no advertising).
The only personal data involved is the standard technical logs (including IP addresses) automatically generated by the hosting provider (O2Switch) as part of normal server operation — mainly for security and abuse prevention. These logs are kept for a limited, standard duration set by the host.
Map tiles are loaded from CARTO / OpenStreetMap (cartocdn.com), which receives the visitor's IP address to deliver the map images.
The Leaflet mapping library is loaded from cdnjs.cloudflare.com.
Vessel data displayed on the map originates from aisstream.io, fetched server-side — no visitor data is sent to them.
